To do what I am doing, you first need to hit Win+R and type netplwiz So I found the answer to my own question, but for anybody else curious: If there's a way to get Media Player to go auto-full screen, then that would solve

I can get it to auto repeat but I can't figure out how to make it automatically go full screen. would someone here have an alternative solution to this problem?īy the way, I just tested Windows Media Player and it has the opposite problem. If there isn't a way, could Microsoft add this option in the menu in a future update? The full screen option is already in the settings, but there isn't a setting to auto-repeat.

This would essentially resolve 98% of our problems in the future. Is there a way to make the App auto-repeat by default once the video auto-loads at the startup? They're no longer stuck on the login screen and at least the video is still on the screen, but it still doesn't do what the client wants and costs us time by sending someone out to fix it each time. we would eventually still have to go out and fix them. The problem is that when it does this, Repeat is still off by default, so it will only play the video once and then stop while showing the player bar along the bottom. This works great because if the sticks reboot for whatever reason, they go right into the video In the Films & TV app, I also have it set to play full screen by default. My solution was to turn off the login screen and set the video to load upon Startup.

So we invested in some Intel Compustick PC's that plugged into the TV.Įverything worked perfectly, except eventually the units lost power and rebooted, leaving the Windows 10 login screen on display until we went back out to fix all six of them around a large car park. I then did some tests and found out that if you could get the video to run through the Films & TV app, it would loop without any player bar or anything else pop up and worked perfectly. Pop up each time and was not ideal for the client. It was just on a USB stick in the back of the TV, however every time it looped, you'd get the player bar So another designer setup a video that would play in a loop every 5mins or so. Originally it was just a still image, but they wanted something more. Hello, I have a bit of a technical question or suggestion for the Films & TV App.Ī client I have at work requested a specific display unit that can play a video of a map (You are here, animated pathway, etc.)
